About:
Moylin Buldain, A visual development artist and character designer with a strong foundation in illustration, concept art, and storytelling (8+ Years of experience) .
I specialize in bringing characters and narratives to life across various media platforms, including animation, publishing, and gaming. With a Master’s degree in Animation and Illustration from Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts and a First-Class Honours BFA from Winchester School of Art, my academic background supports a well-rounded, industry-focused practice.
Currently, I work Freelance in various roles while also teaching in Games, Design and Animation.
My portfolio covers areas of childrens book publishing, illustration, art direction, concept art and visual development art. My experience also extends to the mobile gaming sector also, working with indie studios to create some great 2d Mobile games.
Outside of the animation industry, I’ve led art workshops across the UK and given guest lectures at Tokyo Zokei University in the traditional fine art world. I’ve also exhibited internationally, from the Tate Exchange to the Edinburgh Fringe.
Driven by a love for narrative and character, I continuously seek new ways to tell stories visually and engage audiences across different cultures and formats.
